Hey! I'm Amelia.
Mama, creative and ultimate procrastinator.
My journey into Tilda & Moo began 6 years ago when I wanted to explore the art of sewing whilst on maternity leave with my first born.
Never having sewn in my life (other than year 9 textiles) I asked my partner for a sewing machine for my 24th birthday. It came with an ultimatum that if I didn't use it at least 3 x times a week, I had to pass it on - which I think he now regrets to this day! Ha!
I am a self-taught machinest (with a few hints & tips from my crafty nan, of course) but I couldn't hem your clothes to save my life. However, I CAN turn them (well, anything & everything) into a bib. It's a skill. Amazing right?
I love collaborating with independent local & international designers & artists, as well as other small businesses who are passionate about their work and want to strive to achieve their dreams.
