Our feathers are painted and that’s what makes us special. Our artwork is designed by a local Melbourne artist Ashleigh Ben-Danan who brings brightness and fun into all her designs and we smile whenever we see them - we wanted each of you to have the same experience from your downward dog to your sun salutation.

Our product range is carefully curated and tested for many months, by physiotherapists, pilates and yoga instructors and personal trainers, before production to make sure that you love your 'mingo as much as we do!

We have carefully sourced our products to ensure that we use recycled materials as a core feature: Our mats are made from recycled rubber with a vegan microsuede top - to maximise your grip and ensure you don't slip!, our resistance bands are made from recycled latex and nylon and world first printed yoga blocks are made from recycled EVA foam adding density and support as well as some fun!

Candice is all about colour and fun, from her hot pink reading glasses to her regular rainbow nails, the brand name had to be something that captured all of its personality. Flamingo's are known for their beauty, balance, potential and romance.

In 2020, Candice was out on a walk (in one of those heavily regulated period of time that we don't speak about!) and was thinking about her sad blue yoga mat that kept causing grief on her zoom yoga and pilates classes in the spare room.

She started to search for something functional and beautiful but struggled to find the exact combo she was after. She quickly realised there was an opportunity to create a product to solve a challenge that many others were facing. A workout mat that didn't slip and slide either as you used it or on carpet, great for floorboards in studios too and something that was easy to clean and didn't leave a trail of electric blue foam every time you rolled it out. An opportunity to build a brand that was wildly different and good for both you and the planet.
